Calculate your Government pension
Use this tool to estimate your government or public sector pension if you are employed by a Ministry of the Government of Barbados. You can choose between a full pension or a gratuity and a reduced pension.
The tool will show you:
- an estimated monthly pension amount
- an estimated gratuity (lump sum)
This is an estimate only. Your actual pension depends on records held by the People Resourcing and Compliance Directorate (PRCD) and your last employer.
Start nowWhat you'll need
- Your total months of pensionable service
- Your last annual salary in Barbados dollars (BDS$)
Contact the PRC or your last employer to confirm both figures.
Before you start
- All no-pay leave is deducted from your pensionable service.
- Employees with less than 10 years, but more than 5 years' service would not qualify for a pension, but would be eligible for an ex-gratia award, which is a one-off payment.
